Hedgehog boxes and older photos

All the posts below have been a quick breeze through the last 5 months or so at college. Recently it's been half term, so had plenty of time to work on a section of land close to me and also create some new homes for some more vulnerable creatures around here.

Presenting......Hedgehogs boxes!
These get placed in a quiet part of the garden and are covered in leaves and soil with a vent pipe at the back. Hopefully any local hedgehogs may use them to give birth in or hibernate.
Next task, attaching bird and bat boxes to some beech trees...pics to follow.

Hi Wayne

Nice to see that you have settled in to "country bumpkin mode" lol you sound happy. i have just got the last of my paperwork done now, so just waiting for the "green card". well the weather has been REALLY COLD as you saw from my post, and we had snow for about a month, about a foot in total, went sleding too which was fun. cant say that i miss the uk much but i do miss the green fields and the nice country walks. I dont know if you heard but my gran died in mid Jan aged 90. so its been a bit hard for me the last few weeks.
keep in touch, all the best from colin deb and boys
